All thanks and praise be to Allah the Lord of Universes, and Peace and Blessings of Allah be on His Prophet and Messenger, our Guide and Messenger Muhammad Bin Abdullah, his Family, and All Companions.

Excellencies,

Assalam-o-Alaikum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatuh

Personally and on behalf of the International Islamic Forum for Dialogue which acts as a coordinator for more than 100 governmental and non-governmental organizations, including the members of the International Islamic Council for Da’awaa and Relief, and others, I am pleased to greet and address you in this responsible gathering which convenes today in Khartoum in order to mutually endeavor to put an end to the suffering of our nation, and to mobilize our own sources and resources to seriously deal with the challenges it faces, and to provide the elements of the nation promotion in order to achieve the hopes and aspirations of its generations.

Excellencies,

While addressing you in this notable gathering, it would be more than enough to use implicit reminders to issues well-known to you.  Based on that, allow me indicate to the following:

First:          You certainly know that there is some kind of a world system under formation.

Second:      Some political and military alliances are taking place on the international level.

Third:         a central economical system is being crystallized within the framework of the globalization movement for purposes and aims quite known to you.

Fourth:       some kind of  culture is being designed to be the basis for the formation of the mentality and behaviors of all human generations.

Fifth:          The international resolutions suffer from severe misbalance regarding values and standards and suffer a swell, from a phenomenon of a growing  monopoly.

Such trends that prevail over the international arena are controversial.

So we support any positive initiative towards insuring the unity of the human family, its interests and common security.  But at the same time, we and intellectuals all over the world are opposing the phenomenon of the disorder of the standards and the morals of the globule resolutions, likewise, we oppose other phenomena that confront the inspiration of the human generations towards a just and secure co-existence, and which confront with the truth of the cultural  diversity and the principle of dialogue amongst the civilizations as being the effective and secure way to achieve mutual human interest.

Facing such negative phenomena, and the likewise, we and others in many countries world-wide – would like to pose the following questions:

1.       Has the concept of the international village term ended up contradicting with the human generation’s hopes and aspirations?

2.       Have the pioneers of the democratic game reviewed its values and missions?

3.       What about the role of the democratic game in managing the interests of the international village?

4.       Is it not true that what is happening in the world today confirms that the game of democracy is required only from the small states in the international village, whereas some of the big powers in the village have chosen another game irrelevant with democracy to achieve their goals and interest on the account of others?

5.       Has the situation already been settled in favor of such trends that lack the factors of acceptance and continuation?  Or the chance is still available for a dialogue and cooperation to carrying out a jus world pact that secures  the achievement of the interests of human communities on equal footings?

6.       Is our nation ready to contribute effectively on the basis of its cultural and human weight in the movement of international cultural interacting?

Let us start, Excellencies, from the last question.  Are we really ready to activate our global cultural performance?

I believe that the undisputed answer is that we are not ready, neither on the required level nor on the level commensurate with our values, capabilities and our eminent cultural mission.

I believe also that we are not going to argue the fact that the main reasons for the lack of such readiness lay in holding the will of the nation hostage on both the regional and international levels.

But what is really mortgaging our will?

First of all, we are not underestimating the conspiracy and its continuous attempts against our nation  in order to hinder resuming of its cultural march; but at the same time we are not with a phenomenon of the absolute conspiratorial interpretation of our divers crises which takes the responsibility away from ourselves and some of our practices; which may sometime be more fatal than the conspiracy and the conspirators.

Is it not in point of objectivity to admit that the division of our word and a dispersion of our state , are still the main source of our holding our will hostage , crippling our capabilities, an covering up our cultural mission from the others?

Is it not about time to put an end to such a deplorable reality of our nation on the governmental an nongovernmental, as well as, regional, national and global levels.

Is it not about time to contemplate together as leaders and peoples, with all objectivity to seek the means, ways and factors of curing the reality of our nation, its and to work together to untie its will, therefore activate means of achieving thegoals of its values and pioneer human mission?

Excellencies, for the sake of such a noble hope, I came to your distinguished conference with a proposal, in the name of elite of your brothers and colleagues, the religious and intellectual leaders, about achievement a general reconciliation in the nation, according to the following steps:

1.      It is for your august conference to take a decision to expand and develop the performance of the religious and intellectual leaderships in the framework of the organization of the Islamic conference, in order to mobilize the governmental and non – governmental activities of the Ummah in one current aiming at the achievement of its interests and the maintaining of its mutual security.

2.          Setting up a governmental and non - governmental committee in the framework of the Islamic conference organization to crystallize the values and mechanisms of a general reconciliation project amongst the activities of our nation at all levels.

3.          Endeavour to support and increase the budget of the Islamic conference organization to enable it to develop its institutional infrastructure, improve its performance, and to better undertake its responsibilities regarding the concerns and aspirations of the nations generations.

Finally, we reiterate our emphasis on the importance of the activation of the governmental and non-governmental organizations of the nation and unifying their efforts and directives.  With those two wings , it would take off from arenas of its recession and stumbling, also with those two wings and by the serious complementary between them it would fly off in horizons of its glory and dignity.

We pray to Allah Almighty to grant us with success to achieve this noble goal.

Wassalam-o-Alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh
