We were shocked just as wises and intellectuals from the followers of the religions, cultures and civilizations all over the world because of the ruthless and provocative declarations against Islam and Muslims, which have been launched by the great of Vatican Pope Benedict 16th in the context of the lecture he delivered in front of a gathering of people in Germany. As he attacked the Islamic faith and accused Islam as contradicts the mind and not taking it into consideration saying: " Islamic faith considers the will of God dos not pay attention to thought nor mind ".The head of the catholic church also insulted Prophet of Islam Muhammad "peace be upon him" saying: " Prophet of Islam has came with all bad and inhuman and he has ordered to spread Islam by force of the sword ".
On the other hand, he attacked the mental and intellectual ideas of the humankind " Unfortunately that the positive thought dominates the west world today". Meditating of these unjustified and irresponsible statements clearly appears the contradiction of their significances and that it came closer to the trend of the political recruitment rather than to the objective religious address. It seems clearly, that the Vatican Pope has wanted in these declarations to introduce the Islam and Muslims as a forgiveness sacrifice for exculpation himself and the Catholic Church in front of the political and religious groups that attacking the Catholic church, and undermining the integrity of his religious history.
These statements unfortunately, reflect the exceptionable lack of knowledge at the highest catholic religious authority regarding the fact of the Islamic faith, and the values and principles of Islamic tolerant and humane message. These statements also came to prove the alliance of Pope and Vatican with political, religious and cultural attitudes that assault Islam and wage war against Muslims, and antagonize their interests all over the world.
The international Islamic Forum for Dialogue, which represents more than hundred international Islamic organizations, who are members of the international Islamic Council for Da’wa and Relief, calling the head of Vatican to present an explicit apology to Muslims about his provocative statements which offended Muslim hurt feelings and violating their faith; otherwise the Forum will unfortunately be forced to reconsider the dialogue agreement with the Vatican.
As such an extreme statements blasted and destroyed the fruits of the positive efforts that have been made since more than a quarter of a century ago; for enrooting and establishing a culture of dialogue and safe coexistence between communities; through dialogue between the International Islamic Forum for Dialogue, and the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue-the Vatican. Reviving memory the fact that these violent statements will open the door for mindless sedition ,foundation for a culture of terrorism as enhancing the culture of clash between the followers of the religions, cultures and civilizations; which adopted and practiced by a very well-known groups all over the world.
