I thought hard before I chose
the phrase Partners Not Guardians as the title of this book,
to be followed by the phrase Islam and Its Response to Human
Security Aspirations as a subtitle. The phrase “Partners Not
Guardians” is also the title of Chapter Five of Part Four of
the book. Part four itself has the title “Muslims and the
Obstacles of Dealing with the Contemporary Security
Situation.” |
