Personally, and on behalf of the international Islamic Forum for Dialogue "IIFD" – Saudi Arabia, which represents more than one hundred international Islamic organizations those who are the members of the International Islamic Council for Da'wa and Relief – IICDR and others. We would like to express our deep respect and appreciation to your gracious person and for your wisdom and the independent policy toward the International and regional issues.
Also, we would like to express our sincere thank and honor for your balance and equitable attitudes toward issues of Islam and Muslims, which reflects truly, your commitment to method of the great leader President De Gaulle in supporting of issues of the world justice, freedom and peace.
But, unfortunately, " Le Figaro" news paper on 19 / 09 / 2006 has breached rules and independence of the French culture in respecting of religions and cultures, as it strongly attacked, Prophet and values of Islam. Which has excited a tremendous wave of anger among Muslims through out the world. Undoubtedly, such behavior is feeding culture of the hatred, violence, justifying and inflaming fire of wars and clashes among cultures and civilizations which we strongly reject.
So we look forward to hearing from the notable " Le Figaro " - which publishes under your wise presidency- a clarification and explanation regarding these unjustified and irresponsible acts against Islam and Muslims.
