Speech of
|
Excellencies,
It
gives me pleasure to address this august gathering of Religious, Political and
Intellectual Leaders from all over the world and to discuss with them noble
goals of our mutual interests.
Excellencies,
I
am very convinced that the world current case is in need of such honorable
meeting of wise, Prudent and Equitable leaders to speculate the abnormal
phenomenon of aggression. violence and corruption
that we are facing throughout the world.
Excellencies,
Do
you agree with me that human life, dignity, rights, freedom, health, food, water
and environment are in danger? On the other hand do you feel as I feel that
there is a big defect in values, moral, safety, security and stability nowadays?
Do you feel that we are living in a gloomy forest and swimming in a big sea of
bloodshed .Yet we are suffering from a huge and collective holocaust.
Dear
colleagues,
I
think we are here to contemplate together what is the source of this human
disaster? Let us search what is the root reason of all these evils and
corruptions? Let us discover the essential reason of the Israeli – Palestinian
conflict as the worst case within the world human tragedy.
Is
it a result of the theory of determinsim of clash between religions, cultures
and civilizations as somebody had said?
Is
it a normal stage of human life towards the end of history as someone had said
that also before?
I
don’t think so; there is no rational person should think so. It is kind of
nonsense; yet it is absolutely dementia for any body to think so.
There
is nothing what is so called determinism of clash between cultures and
civilizations. As well as there is no end of the history before a day of
resurrection. History is connected with a movement of the scientific innovation
that is endless.
Excellencies,
From
my part, I think and believe that the essential source and the deep root of all
the evils and corruptions that we are suffering in our life nowadays is an
absence of the Justice among people and communities throughout the world. The
Israeli – Palestinian case should be understood
in this context; I think it is a worst example of injustice in the world.
Therefore,
I think the shortest and the best practical way to tackle this issue; and to put
an end to it’s disasters is Justice. We have to be convinced there will be no
Peace without Justice.

Interpositions and CommentariesH. E. Prof. Dr. Hamid Bin Ahmad AL-Rifaie
|
·
Interpositions:
First
of all I would like to express my deep thanks to my dear colleague Mr. Albert
for his good and useful presentation regarding the historical side of the
Jerusalem.
I
ask his permission to add here essential facts:
1-
That the AL-Aqsaa Mosque has been built by Adam(Pbuh)then reconstructed
by Abraham (pbuh)that easily means that the AL-Aqsaa Mosque is the oldest Holy
Place in Palestine that has been known before all Prophets (pbut).
2-
That the Arab tribes were the first people to reside in Palestine since
the Holy Koran reminds us that the Israelis rejected to enter Palestine when
Allmighty ordered them to enter it as they said: O Moses! In it ( the holy
land)are a people of great strength (Palestinian People), and we shall never
enter it till they leave it; when they leave, then we will enter.5/21
3-
Muslims respect all places of the Divine religions, because they believe
in all Prophets, Messengers and Holy Books of ALLAH Almighty. Muslims have not
any religious problem with other religion’s flowers.
4-
Mr. Bertion has mentioned that the Holy Makkah is a Capital of the Arabia
Saudi. Hence, it is right of Israelis to take Jerusalem Capital to their State.
I
would like to explain the follows regarding this ambiguity:
a.
Holy Makkah has not taken Capital for any Islamic State throughout the
Islamic history.
b.
Compliance with this Islamic traditional. The Saudi Regime dos not take
Holy Makkah Capital to his State. The thing that is well known; that AL-Riyadh
is the Capital of Saudi regime since its foundation till now.
c.
Hence, I call my dear colleague to review his information.
·
Commentaries:
1.
I support what my dear colleague Mr. Allin said: that the both sides
Israelis and Palestinians should go on hand by hand. But we have to recognize
that there is a big difference between the free hand and a chained or cuffed
hand. We have to agree that the Palestinian people are occupied today. hence
there is no possibility of comparison between the occupier and the occupied.
2.
I think that the occupation of the Palestinian territories is the main
reason for the violence and bloodshed current case between the Israelis and
Palestinians.
3.
There is a Chinese saying says let flowers to be opened.
I
think that the flowers of this meeting have opened this morning. It is a
positive case; It is kind of transparency which we are in need of.
Please
let me in this comfortable weather of negotiation express my perspective
regarding the essential reasons of the problem between Palestinian people and
Jews.
I
am sorry if I seemed so too outspoken with my Jewish colleagues. However, we are
here to know each other and to speculate mutual conceptions, in the same time I
will be ready to receive with good-hearted the reflections on my following
ideas:
1.
I think it is wrong when Jews stress that they are the chosen people of
ALLAH and other human beings of the second rank. Yes I know that the Holy Koran
has mentioned that ALLAH said: O Children of Israel! Remember my favor which
I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the universaries.2/ 47
But
we have to know some thing regarding this preference; that it is a fiducial
preference not national preference because ALLAH Almighty has preferred all
other believers as he said in the Holy Koran: ALLAH chose Adam, NUh, The family
of Ibraham and the family of Imran above the universalies.3/ 33 That means
easily that ALLAH Almighty had chosen all those peoples for their belief not for
their nationalities.
2.
Also it is wrong when they believe that a Palestine is a holy Land that
has been given to them alone by ALLAH. Yes I know that the Holy Koran had
mentioned that Prophet Moses had addressed the group which had believed in ALLAH
and followed him (Moses): O my people entire the Holy Land (Palestine) which
ALLAH has assigned to you and turn not back for then you will be turned as
losers.5/21 This verse means that ALLAH almighty has rewarded a faithful
group of Israelis by giving them permission to entire the Holy Land which He has
assigned to every believer in that time.
3.
Also they are mistaken when they decide and believe that right of worship
in holy Places gives every Jew in the world from any nationality right of
possession of the Holy Land ( Palestine ) and the right of living in it. You can
imagine what may happen if this rule has been applied in the world!? You have to
imagine if all Christians have come to live in Bethlehem as it is a place where
Jesus ( Pbuh ) has been born; and if all Muslims have come to live in Palestine
on the pretext of the Holy Aqsaa is the first Kiblah and as the nocturnal
journey end of Prophet Mohammad ( Pbuh ) or to go to the Arabia Saudi to possess
its lands and to live there on the plea of
existence of the Holy Kaaba and as it is their Kiblah in Prayer and all
their religious rituals; and as the Holy Makkah and all lands around of it are
in their sight the most sacred place in the Earth ; on the other hand you have
to imagine what may happen if all Buddhists in the world have crept to Peking (
Capital of China ) since Buddha has been graved there?!
4.
And when they ( Israelis ) do not differentiate between the national
identity and the religious identity of Jewish people. And stress that every
Jewish from any nationality in the world is
Israeli. And he has the complete right of citizenship in Palestine at the
expense of the original citizens from the Palestinian people.
5.
And the biggest wrong when Israelis stress that AL-Aqsaa Mosque has been
built on the bases of the Temple! I think this is unfounded allegation.
Because the Holy Koran says: That ALLAH has took his Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh)
into nocturnal journey ( Esraa ) from AL-Masjid AL-Haram (in Makkah ) to
AL-Masjid AL-Aqsaa (in Jerusalem) 17/1 . On the other hand Prophet
Mohammad ( Pbuh ) has ordered the Muslims to direct towards Jerusalem in their
Prayer before he received
instruction from ALLAH to change the direction in Prayer to the Holy Makkah..
We
have to know all that had happened before coming of the Muslims to Jerusalem.
That easily means it is an incredible story when any body says: That Muslims
have built AL-Aqsaa Mosque on the bases of the Temple.
I
think the above-mentioned thoughts and beliefs are the essential reasons of
isolation and clashes of the Jewish people with other world peoples throughout
the history.
Fore
that I call my Jewish colleagues to review such these unreasonable
allegations.
*Regarding speech of brother Prof. Arkon on fundamentalism
and
his book ( From Fundamentalism to nonbeing ), and regarding his willfulness in
addressing me as I am coming from Saudi Arabia and representative of
the Fundamentalism in his sight!? As you heard, directly I have
interrupted him saying: Once again please! Assuring, that I have accepted his
accusation and it gives me honor to be so, as it is the truth. Yes I am coming
from Saudi Arabia and I am strongly clinging to my Faith and my Culture.
And then let me ask this gathering; is there anybody in this hall without
Faith and without Culture? Is there anyone in the world has readiness to give up
his Faith and Culture? On the other hand I think Dr. Arkon himself rejecting to
be accused in his Faith and Culture. I think the problem at Dr. Arkon is (the
disorder of relationship between the terms and its meanings).
I
think you will agree with me; if I said we have to differentiate between the
fundamentalism and extremism. As the extremism is refusing and disdaining the
other; while Fundamentalism is clinging to the roots of the Faith and Culture in
frame of respecting the other. Therefore the extremism is rejected thing. While
Fundamentalism is requested and desired.
Hence,
I suggest on Dr. Arkon to change title of his book to become (From Extremism to
loss and failure). Acclamation and high laughing predominated in the hall.
